The event aims to provide attendees with a chance to network and build professional relationships in a relaxed environment.

BCRS senior business development manager, Angie Preece, said: “We look forward to bringing companies together at our next networking event as part of our drive to support the West Midlands business community.

“The occasion will be a great opportunity to share experiences and make new introductions.

“We look forward to seeing you at the Saracen’s Head.”

Attendees will receive two complimentary drinks, including soft drinks.

Parking is available nearby, and the venue is also accessible by public transport.

A raffle will be held to raise money for BCRS’s charity of the year, Breast Cancer Now.

The company is delivery partner for the Midlands Engine Investment Fund II (MEIF II), a £400 million fund launched by the British Business Bank to help businesses in the Midlands progress.

Raj Minhas, Investment Manager at Frontier Development Capital, said: “The West Midlands is experiencing tremendous growth, and we’re seeing more businesses across the region unlocking their potential with the right funding support.

“This event is a great opportunity for advisers, brokers and business CEOs to connect with the BCRS and FDC team and learn how we’re driving regional investment to help businesses scale and thrive.”

Five fund managers have been appointed to manage the fund.

The company’s First Enterprise – Enterprise Loans team manage the smaller loans part of the fund (£25,000 to £100,000), Frontier Development Capital and Maven Capital Partners are responsible for larger loans (£100,000 to £2 million), and Mercia Ventures manages equity deals (up to £5 million).

The company provides funding to businesses across the West Midlands that are struggling to access finance from traditional lenders.

Businesses can secure loans from between £10,000 and £250,000 to support growth and recovery plans.
