Operations Support - West Midlands
** FTC – Maternity cover**
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Operations team, this is a full-time, fixed term maternity cover contract for a period of 6 months, reporting to the Operations Director – FDC.
Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on person; someone who can work in both a reactive and proactive manner, approaching each new task with enthusiasm.
You will be required to work on your own initiative and a flexible attitude is paramount.

Responsibilities but not limited to:
- General office duties to include answering the telephone, screening phone calls, enquiries and requests
- Meeting and greeting visitors, organising various meeting rooms, along with refreshments and lunches.
- Managing the kitchen facilities – coffee machine, dishwasher, refreshment stocks.
- Coordinating the meeting room diaries and arranging appointments.
- Liaising with suppliers and assisting management personnel to manage and arrange services that include IT helpdesk, cleaning and maintenance contracts, archiving.
- Taking meeting minutes.
- Ad hoc admin support
- Using a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, etc. to produce relevant correspondence, reports and documents to maintain various presentations, records, spreadsheets and databases.
Skills and Experience:
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Methodical and thorough approach to work.
- Organised and confident with the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong prioritising skills and able to juggle many tasks at once
- Proficient in using a laptop combined with good experience using Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
